I am a geologist with a strong interest in research related to Sedimentary basin analysis and modelling. I received my Doctoral degree at the Department of Geodynamics and Sedimentology, University of Vienna, Austria. The title of my doctoral thesis is ‘Integrated basin analysis of the Vienna Basin, central Europe’ (Supervisor: Prof. Michael Wagreich). Currently, my primary study areas are the sedimentary basins on the continental margin of southwest Australia (IODP Expedition 356 Indonesian Throughflow and Expedition 369 Australian Cretaceous Climate and Tectonics).
My main research interest is the comprehensive analysis of sedimentary basins with interdisciplinary data and techniques. My final goal is to build an integrated basin model including sedimentology, tectonics, volcanism, paleoenvironment, and paleoclimate. My technique and experience contribute to the development of basin evolution models in various settings, which is highly useful in academic and industry fields.
